My Way Guest House is a cozy, family owned house located in the hills above Combe Martin in North Devon. My Way offers pet friendly accommodations in a home setting with stunning views close to the Tarka Trail and Exmoor National Park. North Devon has beautiful beaches and easy access to water sports, golf and many other outdoor activities. Hosts Jane and Hugh look forward to sharing their beloved retirement home with guests. If you like to vacation with your best friend, whether two legged or four legged, North Devon is a dog friendly holiday area with many animal friendly pubs and restaurants. Dogs stay free at My Way and we will happily accommodate well-behaved dogs along with their minders.
The countryside around Combe Martin has lovely walking trails for bird watching and exploring nature. If your preference is golf or cycling, My Way offers equipment for hire for both of these activities.
Combe Martin has a great deal to offer for all ages although My Way is built on a steep hill overlooking the village and is probably not suited for those who are either young or indeed those who have walking difficulties.
My Way is built on an area which had previously been strawberry fields and as such the ground is very fertile for growing of fruit and vegetables which Jane does either in her green house or of course outside.
Only a matter of a few minute’s walk from My Way Guest House are a number of pubs which are very welcoming to visitors and serve up very good food. They are simply wonderful places to relax after a day out walking or shopping! There are also a number of local facilities for those who like bowling and regular walks for those who like to wander over the hills.
Those who have dogs will be relieved to know there are places which are dog friendly for walking their dogs either next to the house or at the bottom of the short road is a local dog walking area and slightly further along the main high road is another dog walking field, all within easy walking distance for those who walk either before or after breakfast. All too often Jane and Hugh had noticed whilst searching for a place to retire to, dog walking areas in the country side are rare and so Combe Martin ticked that box as well for them.
